Tip: Saving Eclipse/FDT Preferences

You will usually make a new workspace for every project that you create in Eclipse/FDT and then have to save out your preferences because every time you create a new workspace it resets the preferences to the default. If you have ever come across this issue, you'll probably find out that it is not as easy as you might have expected so here is a quick rundown of exporting and importing your preferences in Eclipse.

Our Website Up and Running

It's a new year and a new website for us here at DTADS Studio!. We got so carried away with client work, we forgot to attend to our beloved site. (sad). We made a resolution to start a new year (2010) with a new website and we did it. The site is design shows a hint of, but not our full “capabilities”, our aim was to make it efficient and easy to navigate. This year is promising to be really exciting and we at DTADS Studio! are really looking forward to it

Flash coming to iPhone

We read the great news last year October on Adobe's website, that finally the new Flash CS5 will have a packager for the iPhone. They where hoping to release the public beta version of the flash CS5 late last year, so far we got the latest from the website that they will not be able to release the public beta after all (official statement is below), we are slightly disappointed because we where itching to get our hands on it, to test its capabilities.

Punctuate Your Sarcasm

Anyone concerned that the irony of their email or text message might not be appreciated by its recipient can use the symbol to close their sentence, thereby avoiding awkward misunderstandings
